hello! you know what. the camp ended like at 8.30am on saturday. then we waited the bus until 11am for the bus!!! hahahhaa. mygoodness! it was very fun waiting, though(: at 9.30, they said that the bus'll come at 10. then at 10, they said 10.30 and so on! so funny(((: kay um. day1 (just gna keep this short and simple. in case you die of boredom with my chunks of crap.) went to malaysia(mersing!) and we(all the 160 campers) went into the resort. i checked out my dorm. i chose the top bunk! wheee! my dorm was next to my sister's(: hahha. day 1 was quite short. had songs and talks and stuff(: there was icebreaking! yay! very fun+cool. and it was my first night in the dorm. teresa; joanna; rachel; cassie; salome; cherylin; sharlyn; tirzah; jamie and me! jamie is the noisiest person ever!!! at night, she's like goodnight so and so! goodnight so and so! goodnight so and so! goodnight so and so! goodnight so and so! goodnight so and so! neverending!!!! cassie is very pissed with her. but im okay with her! she cracks everyone up! :D i love my dorm(: very niceeee! day2 had the "a-mersing race"- if you got the pun. it's so lame lar. as in, the pun. hahhahah(: the race was sooooo very fun. we had to go to stations and stuff and do tasks. there were 11 tasks/stations altogether. my group did only 8!!! ahhh! )): other groups did like. 10.. i think one group completed the whole race. (((: had my first bible study. my assistant bible study leader is a very very very hilarious woman!!! hahahha. she's very cute. yups. and dorm devotion rocks. we share our experience and stuff. we laugh alot too(: hehe. day3 the special event today was batik painting! very nice!!!! it's painting on cloth lar. we were supposed to paint our games group banners! my games group is consecration!!! (((: i painted quite a bit. very fun!!! oh yeah. and i had my first workshop today. we had to split into groups. i didnt really like my workshop group for that day. hahaha. you should know why, jie. (kurian) so yeah. anyway. and as usual, we couldnt sleep cos of jamie!!! day4 today was the battle assault course!!! very fun!!! first station was the um. marshmallow toss. someone stands in this small circle and tosses marshmallows and we have to try to catch it with our mouths!!! i tried twice. both didnt go in! hahaha. apparently my mouth wasnt big enough and my aiming wasnt so pro!!! nicholas and natalie were the best. natalie throw, nicholas catch. they were the best pair! hahha. (nicholas has quite a big mouth. and a big appetite too. he ate like. 10 marshmallows i think!!!) second station was the pringle one!!! we had to put a pringle on our forehead and scrunch up our faces in order to navigate the pringle into our mouths! i was veryyyyy pro at this one! my sister said that i have a flat face. hmph. finE! okay. shall stop at these two stations kay. there are 6 stations altogether but i shall not be long-windered.(what's the spelling?heeh.) after the course we had to run to the beach and then there was a water fight!!!! hahahhaha! water bombs. i was the attacker. it's either i wasnt aggessive enough or the defenders of the other teams were scary. they were literally roaring at me!!! hahaha. and tried to steal my water bomb away! but it lasted for only about half an hour. sad aye? =D day5 tonight was campers' nite!!! YAYYYY!!! whoohoo. it's the "funnest" thing ever in the camp-every year.(by the way, im a first time camper. you must be at least 12 yrs old to be a camper.) yeah. um. my group(consecration) performed this item. it's suppose to immitate the moses and the 10 plagues thingie. heeeh. we modified it quite a lot lar okay. yeah. i was the villager :DDD hahaha. campers' nite was very enjoyable! we got to see all the other groups' items and all are very hilarious!!!! (((((: kay. out of all the six groups, (redemption; salvation; consecration; sanctification; justification; regeneration), my group was third!!! yayyy. not bad already lar:D sanctification,my sister's group, got second! salvation was first(: kay. after the performance, there was the CAMP FIRE!!!! yayyyyy. very fun. we each had a glow stick! mine was purple! it was soft purple. very nice in the dark! (((: it was like sooooo dark. we held our camp fire at the beach. and the ground was sand+sea water. verrrrry "squelchy-ey" if you get what i mean. mind my english. it sucks. yeah. but it was ultra fun!!! i slept at 2.30am. my sister slept at 4plus cos she was learning guitar!!! hahahha(: she's still not very pro, but she's not bad either! :DDDD she's getting a guitar for christmas! im still thinking what im gna get for christmasfrom my parents! (((: hm. any suggestions? =D day6. went home, as you know. left the resort at 11am (around there) and then reached singapore at 4pm. estimated time, 2pm!!! hahaha. 2 hours tardy! not bad huh. well, the camp was veryyyy enjoyable. ill attend every year's youth camp!!! okay. gonna sing/type out this year's theme song for you kay. here goes!
as little children we would dream of christmas morn, of all the gifts and toys, we knew we'd find, but we never realised a baby born one blessed night, gave us the greatest gift of our lifes!
